Hello All,
We have recently come to live in Costa Rica (last year we were in Freeport, Bahamas). Costa Rica signed the WHO code and as part of that they have set up the Comision Nacional de Lactancia Materna to make sure companies are code compliant. The meetings are attended by representatives from different organizations: the child welfare services, the hospital, LLL etc. One of the ladies needs to have a drug list that she can show to the doctors here- and Dr. Hale's book is not in Spanish.
I remember a few months ago on Lactnet a Dr. from Spain posted about a drug list that was in Spanish. I could not retrieve it from the archives and wondered if the Dr. could post it again or anyone else if they know what I am referring to.
I go to these meetings as an IBCLC and as a LLL Leader - not that I can speak Spanish - but there is a wonderful lady here, Nancy Sabean, who has been here 40 + years who started League here, is an ex-IBCLC and who talks at the hospitals and schools. She translates for me.....for now.
Thanks for your help.
Shirley Riordan LLLL IBCLC
