Hi All,

Had some interesting experiences the past few days. I got word back that a
Doc was upset with me because his client misunderstood what I had said -
REALLY misunderstood what I had said. The person the Doc talked to told him
there was no way I would say such a thing but whatever.Doc believes what he
believes and in his eyes I am a nutcase. Oh well. Not much I can do about
that (or want to do about that right now - I have other priorities.).

Later that same day, I got to call a Dr of one of my clients - the one I was
looking for Oxytocin nasal spray for. She actually answered her phone!
(for this particular HMO that is a rareity!) We talked for about 15 minutes
with her asking me all kinds of questions about the nasal spray, Diflucan,
Reglan (and why not to use it - which she then agreed with!), what else
could she do to help this mom and others, and what other suggestions did I
have for mom to help with her milk supply - she was really interested in the
homeopathics. What a GREAT conversation! She was thrilled to take my name
and know that she could call me anytime (7 days a week) and promised to give
out my number to the other docs in her group! Whoopee!! Success!

So, this morning I had a consult with first time parents - really it was all
about fine tuning - what a nice relaxing visit that was! Well, turns out
Dad is an ER doc.gave him my card and told him that if he ever had a BF mom
come in and he needed answers fast (and couldn't get a hold of his hospitals
LC) to call me 24/7. He was thrilled! He said it was nice to know that he
had someone to call because he knew NOTHING about BF! :-) Yea! More
success!

Lastly, I have 2 mommies who happen to be pharmacists.they are both
fascinated by Hale's book.wish I could get them for them for free.but they
do have the info on how to get them for themselves.

All in all it has been a good week and to top it off - I had my first
on-line sale this week in my new on-line store! Yea!!!

Just thought I'd share the good news.

Warmly,

Jaye Simpson, IBCLC, CIIM
