My colleagues and I currently work both inpatient and outpatient in a
Lactation Department at two area hospitals. We currently document on paper
except for feedings which are documented via computer in EPIC. Soon we
hope to begin outpatient lactation services at a local clinic in our system that
also uses EPIC. We would like to document solely in EPIC to allow us access
to lactation info from any office we may be in.
Does anyone currently document inpatient and outpatient in EPIC? We are
interested in your experience and advice with this. Please respond to the list
and/or email at [log in to unmask]
Thank you for any help,
