Thank you everyone for the input. I am thinking the concept of bottle
feeding being an issue is a possibility and maybe that is what he was talking
about, who knows. I just know for him to clip at all it must be very
severe...and this baby was to the tip of the tongue stuck.
I also want to share...even though this momma is now dealing with
vasospasms from the horrific trauma done in only 7 days to her nipples...before I saw
her....This awesome little baby was so happy to be on her breast again and
his eyes opened so wide when he realized how easy he could remove milk now that
he had a tongue to use! Another baby who also prefers to simply be put in
the general area, and be allowed to self attach...zero guidance from mom, just
allowed him to find his own way. Mom was able to feed him pain free, he was
able to do what he is born to do....breastfeed.
