I have a question of private practice lactation consultants; does anyone use
Medela's Superbill for billing for your services? How about the one from the
Lactation Institute? I've used one I made up years ago but recently had one
insurance company in particular denying clients for lack of my address or
unkown codes (on the bill and legitimate), so decided a more official looking one
would work and had copies made from the template of Medela's bill. I've been
in touch with Medela re how to fill the bill out (especially, where to put fee
charged) with just as much confusion on the part of person helping me. So if
anyone uses them or has a contact with Lactation Institute (their website
doesn't allow ordering from), please contact me off list. Thank you.
