After a fairly swift first glance these are interesting. I have only looked
at interpretation and counselling so far. The charts in the training
material are labelled using z-scores rather than centiles which on its own
is going to be entertaining to explain. I like some of the features in the
second job aid. However, it will be a huge culture shift for UK health
workers not just to recommend exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months, but to
check that women are breastfeeding at least 8 times in 24 hours (now, don't
get at me for the message, I'm just the messenger) and to even consider
re-lactation as a strategy for weight gain issues!!!
I am preparing to print these off and to give them a more thorough look.
Thought some on this list might want to know the material is there.
