According to the newspaper article, the mom who lost custody of her baby boy
and ran away with him in Washington State is still breastfeeding. Not
directly anymore I would guess
from the visitation schedule of only twice a week and supervised.
Judy Ritchie
Mike Shipley, the lawyer for [Tina] Carlsen, said he hopes his client can
prove herself quickly and that her visitation will be expanded
significantly. Carlsen is still breast-feeding the baby.
"She would like me to assure the court she has nothing but her child's best
interest at heart," Shipley said.
Under the agreement approved Thursday, Rogers will have to handle Riley's
medical care. He must be in daily contact with the boy's doctors. Carlsen's
visits with the boy will take place at a local DSHS office.
