I don't like that analogy because I choose to selectively immunize.  
Some immunizations are not necessary for newborns (Hep B, for one, 
unless a newborn lives in filth and raw sewage, is sexually active with 
many partners, or uses IV drugs).  With others, the risk of the vaccine 
is greater than the risk of the illness.  I also delayed 
immunizations.    There are no good sides for not breastfeeding.  Not 
putting your child in a car seat is taking a huge risk.  However, I 
think there can be some serious reasons to not immunize.  So to me the 
analogy doesn't fit.
