I don't know what the standard treatment is these days here for
pituitary tumour, but a quick look around the UK website for GPs and
others indicates that as you suggest cabergoline seems to be the main
one. I know bromocriptine has not been in general use for a while.
As you say, cabergoline is known to be long-acting. It would make
sense that it continued to suppress prolactin.
