I did check the Lactnet archives, and did not find this addressed... A mom
of a 10 week old has started to have nosebleeds a couple of times per week,
timing not related to bfing. She describes them as severe nosebleeds, she
says (paraphrased) they are not the kind you pinch your nose with a tissue,
they are the kind you kneel over the toilet for a few minutes. Doctor says
they are bfing related, and won't go away until some weeks after weaning,
when hormones return to normal. I have not heard of such a thing. (I think
mom may need a different doctor.) Mom has not had regular nosebleeds in her
past. Anyone?
