Oh Goody!! More legal patents on components of human milk!
When do moms have to start paying royalties to these patent holders every time they put their own baby to breast?
And where are they getting their milk supplies to make these weight-loss products? (Haven't read the article yet.) Do the donating moms know that's where their milk is going?
The knowledge that lactoferrin provides this (previously unidentified?)benefit to babies is a very good thing. I just get discouraged when it always seems to lead to a commercial product instead of to promoting the wonders of breastfeeding.
