The AAP's policy statement still recommends the introduction of
solid/complimentary foods "gradually beginning around 6 months", NOT before
6 months.
This is the policy statement put forth by the section on breastfeeding. Is
there a separate section on nutrition and if so, are the two committees now
contradicting each other?
