  Wow, that would be uncomfortable... Just as I have an additional consent for the mother to sign if she agrees that I can photograph her breasts and/or baby at breast, mouth, whatever, for educational purposes, consent goes both ways, and it needs to be discussed before the fact.  You might have asked her, "Were you concerned you would forget something?  No worries, I'll be writing it all out for you, because you might have questions later, plus you can always call me.  Sure, I'm willing for you to record the latching (whatever) portion of our visit"...How did you handle the rest of the consult?
