This is from the work of Peter Hartmann and/or his associates. I
have it in my notes from one of his sessions at the LLL of CO/WY
conference last year. At the moment I also have my 23-month-old
nursling on my lap or I would look up the reference for you! What I
remember is that virtually all women produce more from one breast
than the other, and in the vast majority it is the right breast,
regardless of handedness.
(I wondered if I am just unusual or if I have unconsciously
cultivated greater production in my left breast by using it more,
thus freeing up my right hand for the computer mouse!)
