I want to do a survey.  In how many of your hospitals are you weighing
babies in prone position on the scale as opposed to supine or side
lying.  They cry less and there is less flailing and stress signs, and
because they are lying still, it is easier to get a weight.  
I started showing this to the nurses today.  I am getting the same
resistance as I did from paced bottle feeding.  I have to do an
in-service next month.  I will stress these two new ideas and hand out
"rotten tomatoes" for them to throw at me.  
I would like to be able to say in what other countries they use prone
position for weighing newborns.  I have started filming them for proof.
