Hi Lea,
Nice to meet you on LACTNET. I wanted you to see this before I sent it to
the listserv. There are so many factors that are almost the same, including
our names and LLL involvement. Best wishes to you in Paris.

it struck me how much we have in common. Then I realized I never formally
introduced myself, so here I am belatedly:
Hi Lactnetters,
I am Lee Galasso, IBCLC since 1985, LLL Leader of the Yorktown, NY group
since 1977. In addition to being an LLL Leader, I am an LC in private
practice, and board member of our local ILCA affiliate.
I have 3 grown children, ages 39, 37, and 32, and two grandchildren, ages 19
months and 11 months. My children were breastfed for 4 months, 6 months,
and 30 months respectively (the last with the help of La Leche League;
that's when I got hooked into helping with breastfeeding).
Despite being born in the USA, my first language was Italian, which I hardly
ever use today but it still influences my thinking and way of communicating
(you may notice it in some of my phrasing). LACTNET has been a great source
of information ever since I joined and I hope to be with you for many years.
Lee
