Dear Friends:
    I came across an interesting paragraph in the 6th  edition of Lawrence, 
on page 262.
    "It has been demonstrated in other species that  newborns will become 
apneic when fed milk from species other than their  own."
    And, "Even from a bottle, human milk was associated  with more regular 
breathing than was formula feeding."
    I am thinking of all the babies sent home on apnea  monitors...........
