This article states that esophageal pH monitoring has demonstrated that
infants have significantly less GER when placed in the prone position for sleep
-- but that supine is still preferred because of the decreased risk of SIDS.
Apparently someone has already done the study -- so we now have someone
verifying what we are seeing since the back to sleep campaign.
