Yes, that's my thinking. The cynic in me says that "Family-Friendly" is
defined by the individual hospital. No extra fees, no surveyors, no added
staff training.
Is there really a Family-Friendly certifying organization or Standard of
Care? Anywhere?
And how do I get a copy of the AHWONN (sp?) guidelines for competencies
that mention knowledge and skills in lactation?
