Normal babies who get more efficient with digestion of Brmilk, producing
less daily "waste" and go days between BMs will usually then have a large BM, a
big messy "mudslide".
Some peds will have mom give baby a little rectal stim or suppository - For
The Moms Sake - becuz she is so worried in spite of everything else being
normal including happily Bfdg baby, good UOP (urine output, including color) soft
tummy, etc.
If you search the LN archives well you may find a post from Jack Newman
about a record breaking non-pooping normal baby - my recollection is that the
record at his clinic at the time of that LN post was 23 days - check the
archives for yourself and let us know if that is correct.
