Do we have anyone here who has used the Denver II developmental
test with children?? or know someone who has. I understand that part
of the test involves giving a young child a doll and a bottle and
asking them to feed the baby (this has been discussed on Lactnet in the past). I'm wondering what happens if the child
breastfeeds the doll?? I'd really like to talk to someone about this
before I follow it up further. If it is the case that the child who
breastfeeds has deemed to have failed the tast that would be (bad
obviously!) but useful to me in writing about children's play and
breastfeeding.
If anyone can help me with info about this test (or any other child development test that might have similar issues) please do!!
