Hi everyone. We are moving to Brunswick GA at the end of June (hour
north to Savannah, hour south to Jacksonville FL).
Can any LNers provide me with stats on breastfeeding initiation and
continuation rates in GA? I'm sure it will be quite a shock for me coming
from the high rates up here in the Pacific NW. But I'm ready to be an agent
of change!
Also any recommendations for breastfeeding friendly peds (MD or DO) or
pediatric nurse practitioners as well as IBCLCs and CSTs/cranial osteopaths?
Has anyone had any experiences with the local hospitals and their
"family-centered"ness or breastfeeding support?
If anyone lives there and can give me any other helpful info about
raising kids there, especially while hubby is Iraq July-Dec, please email me
off-list. Thanks alot!
