One mom I met was unhappy with all the leaking her pierced nipple had, so
she just stopped feeding the baby on that side and let it involute -
meanwhile she continued to breastfeed well on the other side -never needed
to supplement or had any problems. When she had baby #2, baby #1 was still
breastfeeding, so she used both breasts until baby #1 weaned, then went back
to feeding #2 only on the side that didn't leak as much.
