More has to be done to combat the high infant mortality rate in Wolverhampton, according to a city MP. 

New figures show that Wolverhampton is one of the 10 worst areas in England for infant mortality.

Poverty, smoking during pregnancy and lack of breastfeeding are all thought to play a part towards the high infant mortality rate.
