 I want to add in on this one... I too would say that some of the  worst 
train werecks I have seen are home births... It is important to remember  that 
home birth/ no meds doing all the "correct" things is NOT a guarantee. Some  of 
the problem I have seen is that as the thought is that with a home birth it  
will all work perfectly there is a tendency to wait a long time... 4-6 weeks to  
call for help. This compounds the problem and the solution.
