After checking out the website, you might also check out Mothering magazine.
There is a short article on milk banking in general. The one note that
concerned me is the statement that pastuerized human milk is no better-immunity
wise- than artificial milk due to the process of pastuerization. I would like
to see the full research on that if anyone has the link, I can't find it.
But surely, all this hard earned milk in the milk banks currently is indeed
better. As far as Prolacta goes, just check out the archives (which I haven't)
and their website, make your own decision.
I think milk banks are a wonderful resource, imo!
