As others have said it is not just possible. It is quite common. I have
known women who have feed the first baby through two subsequent pregnancies
and so ended up breastfeeding three children of different ages.

I am sure if you have a look at the La Leche League website you will find
some more information about this, too. Actually I imagine that this mother
might find some support and encouragement from LLL. Perhaps you could find
her local leader for her and put her in touch?
