Room and board? Hey, these moms get a $200 pump and the wonderful
opportunity to work extra hard every day doing extra pumping, spend their
gas money (which ain't cheap here in the USA) to deliver the milk so someone
else can soon live the easy life of wealth from the profit made from the
hard work of these women who may very well not realize that there are people
out there making a profit on them.

I spoke with an RN today who asked the question: Will there be IBCLC's
available to these women for free to ensure that there are no issues with
the mom's milk supply and the baby she has who is nursing - example:
Oversupply, foremilk-hindmilk imbalance due to extra pumping, etc.? And,
if an IBCLC does work for this company what about the ethics related to
that? Where does IBLCE stand on the ethics issue in this situation?

More 'milk' for thought.

Jaye
