Karleen,
this is exactly what I tried to explain last year on this topic. As a 
matter of fact a university based diabetologist friend of mine, the minute 
I started describing the methodolgy of the study,immediately grasped the 
issue: she certainly knows what her colleagues are like - and refused to 
refer her clients to the collecting center. As IBCLCs we should be careful 
avoiding falling into the tricky depths of a "flawlessly" designed 
research protocol.
