I agree with Llisa, I too see a lot of women who have had very assisted
conceptions. They really do expect to fully lactate and are dumbfounded that
they have lactation problems.They often work extremly hard at getting things
going. And sadly sometimes, even the best work does not resolve the issue of
supply. I remember a conference on low supply where the speaker talked about
primary glandualr development not only in puberty but also in utero. Mothers
who themserlves were premature may not have had the maternal hormonal input
to develop themammary breast bud infastructure.. Interesting! Ann
