I've searched the archives and can't find my specific question.

I recently watched a video of a conference Dr. Hale gave in 1998. In this
video, he states that Zoloft is his first choice for anti-depressant usage
in breastfeeding mothers and that Paxil is his #2 choice. His main reason
for listing Paxil as #2 was that at the time it had not been as well
studied. Is Zoloft still considered a better choice than Paxil? Does Dr.
Hale still teach that Zoloft is preferred over Paxil? Are there any studies
you can direct me towards that talk about this? Most recent studies I have
found list Zoloft and Paxil as pretty equal options.

Thanks so much for any help you can give me. I'm working with an ob/gyn who
is having trouble with an insurance company that won't pay for Zoloft. I
would like to find good references that either show Paxil is an appropriate
alternative or that would give us a case to present to the insurance company
urging them to pay for Zoloft because it is the best choice.
