I want to second Laurie's comment.  Remember that when we use donor or any
other replacement milk (even a mother's own frozen and stored milk) we are
bypassing the wonderful mechanism whereby mother's body produces antibodies
that are passed onto her baby, offering protection from germs present at
that point in time in their shared environment.  Even if a mother can't
reach a full supply of her own, I would guess that any amount of her own,
fresh milk would be of some benefit.
