Dear Friends:
I was teaching a full day of breastfeeding information as part of an
18-hour course; one of the participants told of a population that she works
with. They are a religous community and have lots of babies. The mothers use
bottles in the hospital because they want a day or 2 with no children. They also
drink human milk at the end of the pregnancy to put themselves in labor.
