When I went to Syracuse, NY, yesterday to retake the IBCLC exam, I was
surprised to see that there were on 27 candidates, of whom 3 or 4 were
first-timers.
I seem to remember that there were at least 2 or 3 times that many
people when I first certified. Was the Syracuse site an exception?
Were there more people at the other sites?
Or is this an indication that there really are (a lot!) fewer people
interested in becoming (or recertifying) as IBCLCs?
