Am wondering if others are seeing result I have noticed with these products.
Claim is they sooth, protect and promote healing. Sounds good to me! And
absolutely yes, the moms do love how they feel when applied after bfdg
especially if cold.

Given my practice is an "end-of-line" operation (first-line interventions
didn't work) I may see results biased toward failure. However, when I meet
a mom with deep abrasions, open wounds, severe pain I've noticed that mom
obtains faster relief from pain and quick healing with switch to application
of Bactroban alternated with ointment of mom's choice (purified lanolin or
other similar) with breast pad for protection.

Have also noticed too many moms are using these products for weeks or months
(expensive?) rather than fix the underlying latch issue. Or yeast. Or
dermatitis. Or...

I continue to support use of the various competing gel pads for soothing
during early days of sensitivity - but switch to alternative approach when
damage is signficant.

Again - I see all the failures as no-one will spend money to come and see me
to tell me how well something worked! So would love to hear what others are
experiencing.
