sounds like this does not bother the baby, correct?
if not, then all seems to be fine, ......seen many babies gain like this for
a number of weeks, ....gain will slow in several weeks, as it should.
....sometimes when wt gain/week later slows parents panic - "baby not
gaining as usual! not enough milk!", have them do the math - if gain continues at
400gms/week for a year how much would baby weigh at one year of age?, ...with
this in mind you can help them be comfortable with the inevitable slower gain
and even with a probable weight plateau at some point.
