Dear Pam,

You may wish to contact the African-American Breastfeeding Alliance
http://www.aabaonline.com/ They may be able to direct you to some lovely,
healthy images of African-American mothers and babies, including some very
young looking mothers, nuclear family groupings (with dads), and
multi-generational groupings (with grandmothers).

> Hi all,

> I am taking an online graduate school course (Health Policy) where we
are learning all about health disparities among minorities here in the USA.
And under the learning module about Maternal-Child health--yes, you guessed
it---an African-American mom feeding her baby a bottle. I finish the class
in 3 weeks, so could you send me some ideas (privately) to get this picture
to be taken off the online course. This is a top state school and well
respected place where I hope to get my Master's and not upset anyone. I
know--I need to walk the walk. However, when I send this to the folks that
design the cirriculum, it will be the high ups. And I really want to do
this. My thoughts are that if breastfeeding cannot be promoted, then a
visual of skin to skin contact. If you have any picture ideas, please send
them.
