In a recent post Rachel Myr talked about "non-human milk ."
I LIKE that phrase!
Back when Lactnet was young, we had a lively discussion about using
more accurate language to describe what is popularly known as "infant
formula." We came up with a whole slew of possibilities, from "AIM -
artificial infant milk" to "TOSS - That Other Stuff," and everything
in between. We were trying to tell it like it is, and I believe that
Rachel has come up with a winner. It is both accurate and
non-offensive :)
So, in future, I, at least, will be referring to "non-human milk."
