This feels like the silliest question in the world, but is there any risk of
damaging breastmilk storage bottles (specifically Medela) where the plastic
leaches out and makes the bottle unsafe to reuse, if it is microwaved? **it
is not breastmilk being microwaved!!** It is maple syrup (don't ask) and I
wasn't in the kitchen so don't know how long it was nuked (not enough to
make it bubble over out of the bottle), by a very "helpful" child. Would the
plastic in that bottle still be stable or is it dangerous to reuse that
bottle to pump and store breastmilk in? I feel so dumb asking this!
Embarrassed, Vicki Hayes in WA
