My youngest sister bought one for  my middle sister for C'mas -- it's all 
made out of wood, and each piece fits  into the next piece so it looks like a 
half of a slice of log.  Anyway, the  manger holds the whole thing together 
somehow -- and Mary is holding  Jesus.
