Hi all,
This is a tad off topic.
My son was hospitalized yesterday. He is due to be in hospital for the next 3-7 days.
My medical director at my new position (only been there for three weeks), encouraged me to "resign" as a result of my asthma, my son's hospitalization and some personality conflict.
I did not work from Feb 14-March 12 to move. I have a 90 day clause with my contract with the clinic that she is not hornoring; two year obligation with the health district (they jointly recruited me).
In the meantime my health and my son's health is primary. Short term I am looking for locum tenens work in Northern California (within 1 hour driving distance of Petaluma). Long term (6-12 months) I want to set up a practice in Petaluma. It is truly a good place to live!
Best,
Pierrette Mimi Poinsett MD FAAP
Petaluma CA
