Spot the empiricists amongst us! A few hours ago I prepared two 100  
ml bottles of full fat cows milk, and inoculated one with 1.3 ml of  
37% alcohol gin. Placed in the front of an old fridge-freezer, both  
froze solid and are indistinguishable from each other.

I suspect the only way maternal drunkenness can cause milk to not  
freeze, is if she forgets to put it in the freezer.
