His books "The Scientification of Love" and "The Cesarean" are 2 of his  
fabulous books on the subject and he has a vast website full of explanations on  
his theories and research articles that support them.

What he has to say in the "Gentle Birth Choices" video is wonderful!   It's a 
favorite  recommendation of mine.  His perspective on  birth empowers a woman 
with confidence in her body that then only interprets  into confidence with 
the next step of breastfeeding.  
 
..experiences have clearly shown that an approach which  "de-medicalizes" 
birth, restores dignity and humanity to the process of  childbirth, and returns 
control to the mother is also the safest approach.
