" In reading the posts of those of you who have listed things put
into breastfeeding diaper bags, I'm a little concerned about the message
those bags are giving. Lansinoh, breast pads, mother's milk tea, coupon
for free pump rental...Does this mean that a breastfeeding mother will not
be able to successfully nurse unless she has and uses all these things?"

I know what you mean Pam, but I think I'd draw the line at breast
pads. I think it is painfully obvious who needs them and who doesn't
once you have your baby and your milk has come in. ;-) Several of my
BF friends have never needed them, ever, some have needed them only
the first week or so when their milk was really coming in, and then
people like myself need them for months on end...so I don't think it's
really going to send a mixed message really... I know SOME people
could worry that if they don't leak they don't have enough milk but
really, that is a myth that could be debunked easily enough IMO...

I still like the idea of a nice reusable water bottle. Either with or
without a company logo on it. ;-)
