We should stress that these are NOT "breastfeeding" charts.
The World Health Organization developed them to describe the NORMAL rate

Jeanette, thank you for letting us know - that is great! Is WHO hesitating
to mention the relationship to breastfeeding? Will WHO avoid explaining
that the weight charts are based on the norm for breastfed babies? And that
is what ABM-fed babies should be achieving, especially when they are gaining
too much later? Has anyone said if there will be charts for normal gain in
height?
Wouldn't it be great if we could do something to promote their purchase/use?
If they are available, I'm thinking that I will suggest that for World
Breastfeeding Week to my Board of Directors for my local ILCA affiliate. If
we have enough money, we may want to provide the charts for as many
pediatricians and healthcare facilities as possible. Thanks again!
