According to an article in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition,
breastfeeding will not protect an infant from childhood obesity -
contradicting previous research.
In this study, researchers measured how much fat 313 American 5-year-olds
had. They also asked their parents whether their child had been breastfed.
Breastfeeding was found to make no difference.
