Hi Cee,

Lots and lots and lots of skin-to-skin contact; bathing together; sleeping
together; hand or pump expressing to stimulate let-down before putting baby
to breast (assuming baby is looking for the immediate satisfaction of milk
like w/bottle. Factor in growth spurt at around 3 months); taking pressure
off the daytime feedings and just enjoying the skin-to-skin contact; if
mom's feeding the bottle then do so in a nursing position (skin-to-skin);
SNS; responding immediately to any cue that baby wants food/comfort before
baby becomes agitated; nursing in a quiet/calm environment (w/out
distractions); nursing in different positions and different environments;
nursing while walking around.

Sincerely,
Dianne Oliver, IBCLC
Simi Valley, CA
