Dear Friends:
I am working with a woman who had to wean her 9 month old because she,
the mother, had lost so much weight. Her baby was thriving.
This woman's mother-in-law is a nutritionist and was monitoring her
intake. The mothe was taking 3 high-calorie supplemental drinks per day, plus
eating calorie dense foods and still lost weight.
She is now pregnant and doesn't want to have this happen again.
I suggested she get a weekly massage, as I know that massage can promote
weight gain.
What would you all recommend?
warmly,
