Please take my comments as respectful: I don't think that you, as a
lactation professional, have any reason to attempt to help formula seem
normal, or to assist the formula manufacturers in overcoming the problems
their products cause. Let those nurses who promoted formula clean up their
own mess. Tell them you are an expert in LACTATION, and they will need to
field all questions and concerns from mothers who use formula.

Subject: soy formula

  Dear wise ones
IN my work place our Peditricians change formual to prosobee very quick.
Most of the time it is the Nurses who kind of encourages. My hospital is a
small rural hospital.
In formual babies,.I am wondering what you guys do when baby spits up in
each feeding(beside Upper GI) I want to know your choices of formula what
you use. And how concerned health professionals are about .
phytoestrogens, manganese, alumunium they are in soy formula.

Of course, it would be nice breastfeeding would completely take care of
the problem. But some mom don't want to breastfeed at all.

  Thank you,
