Yes Lisa;
I also find it appalling that this happens. i have found two pumps that
belonged to a rental company although not mine but because of the type and
the serial number i would ask where they had gotten them and they would say
a kinf friend lent it or sold it to them. I would give the serial number to
Medela the company they belonged to and when I tried to talk to them again
because of course, ethically i could not give Medela, their name and number,
they would nolonger answer the phone.
I'm glad for the insurance I pay on the pumps because I have lost several by
people changing their addresses and phone numbers and there no way to track
them down.
All rental pumps on Ebay would be suspect because I don't think that either
of the 2 bigger rental companies really sell any of their pumps and for
rental companies to buy them out right would probably not really be cost
effective because of how good the company deals with repairs and
replacements etc. Can Ebay be asled tpo stop seeling anything though?
